Accommodation:

Home-stay: Our students stay with nice families and, in this way, will be in close contact with the language (actually they will “live” in the language) and with our culture. Families are carefully selected to match our students’ expectations. We offer good options of families, houses and “environments” for our students to be comfortable and feel at home, but…talking Spanish!!!

Apartments: You can choose between a private or shared room in apartments we will have the pleasure of renting specially for our students. You will share the bathroom and the kitchen with other students.

Hotels: Tucumán offers you a wide variety of hotels. You can choose between different categories.

Hostels: Hostels are a good option for backpackers. Our city has also a wide variety of hostels, some in the downtown and others in beautiful green places, a little far from the city but in contact with nature.

TUCUMAN

TUCUMAN is located in the Northwest of the Argentine Republic, between parallels 26 and 28 South Latitude and meridians 64'30". It covers 22.524 Km2 and it is the natural geographic center of the region for communications, for its social life, for its economy and also because of its population: 1.142.247 of wich 475.000 people live in the capital city.
TUCUMAN is 540 km from the Pacific Ocean in a straight line, 1.050 km from the River Plate and 1.400 from the Atlantic Ocean. 50 % of the Province is mountainous which makes it possible to have a very varied climate with unique climatic zones and as a result, many different agricultural crops. TUCUMAN, Province of great beauty, is called "THE GARDEN OF THE ARGENTINE REPUBLIC" due to its dense vegetation, magnificent rain forests, extensive forestation, rivers and mountains.

Our Method

Communication

Since it’s essential to know the spirit of a language conversation classes are intensively implemented in our courses.

Communication activities are also aimed at thoroughly developing the reading, listening skills and practicing pronunciation.

We use audio-visual material, such as DVDs, CDs and the like.

In the courses we include much information describing the cultural environment of the north-western part of the country and of Argentina in general. In this way we make our students immerse into language and culture deeply, deeply.

Grammar

  • It is a dynamic method to learn the Spanish grammar more effectively. Through this technique students get to know all the grammatical points with linguistic wealth and pleasantly. Besides, it is extremely understandable to everybody who is eager to know Spanish
  • All the grammatical points are presented in tables, in charts that contain theoretical information with exercises and explanations with the very aim of teaching this wonderful exciting language
  • In addition, a large colloquial vocabulary is given in order that foreign students become familiar with the daily expressions used in this province. The texts are ornamented with wonderful pictures, lyrics of popular songs and even with some recipes for cooking typical foods.
