CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

After classes and on weekends we offer a wide selection of activities, conducted in Spanish (most of them involve no extra charge). Students should check the notice boards in reception daily for times, sign-up sheets and specific information. We encourage all students to participate in as many activities as possible, as you will find they greatly enhance your understanding of, and connection to, the culture.

 

 

HONDURAN / LATIN-AMERICAN LECTURES

We hold periodic talks and informal gatherings which cover a diverse range of subjects and inform students about topics such as the ecology and environment of HONDURAS, Latin-American literature, politics, women's studies and other socially and culturally related themes.


STUDY AND LEARN SPANISH IN
 
LA CEIBA

La Ceiba (pop. 80,000) is the third largest city in Honduras and is located on the Caribbean coast. It is the country's most vibrant city with nightly entertainment. The city is friendly with an international atmosphere and is easy to walk around. There are lots of nearby Eco-activities. You will find plenty of opportunities to speak Spanish!

Private Intensive Spanish Language Program

One-on-One Intensive Spanish instructions include conversation, vocabulary, studies of grammar, reading comprehension, composition, the experience of real life Spanish situations, also and a diploma upon completion.

Classes are held in the mornings, with the afternoons and weekends free for recreation and most importantly, time to practice Spanish, through immersion in the local culture.

Group Intensive Spanish
This program has the same characteristics as the Individual program, but is given in groups of up to 4 students maximum.
